Lead me Home

The raging, sultry storm abates the excruciating hurt within these dark, slimy, bloody walls. The pain, pounding heavily, shows no traces of disappearing anytime soon. Within these deceptively sheltering walls, there once lay peace – my bereaved friend today. As I suffocate here, buried in this chaotic pile of futile, discarded yet intrusive array of thoughts, nothing fits into this wiry, fused, neurotic, parasitical organism. Any attempts to survive are crushed by the Hand – the all-knowing Hand. The little corner where peace tries to cache, cringes to every unwanted, over-bearing thud.

Lead me Home, oh blinding, luminous light – at the end of this non-existent, yet fearsome Tunnel.
